This handmade end grain cutting board is made from Black Walnut and Maple that are native to North America, with an accent of Purple heart that is native to South America. The bottom of the cutting board has rubber feet to help prevent scratches on surfaces and keep the slicer in place while cutting. It is finished with a natural food grade finish. Product is 20" long, 15" wide, and 2 3/8" tall including the rubber feet. The wood is 2" thick and has a 1/4" deep groove around the edge to hold the juices on the board. The wood is book matched to give it a beautiful grain pattern. With that being said no two boards will ever be the exact same grain pattern.
